Job summary

Mastercard Inc. in Ireland seeks a Lead Site Reliability Engineer with deep HP NonStop expertise to ensure reliability of real-time payment platforms in a global, high-scale environment. You will own availability, incident response, automation, and operational excellence across 24x7 systems.

You will define SLOs, mentor engineers, and partner with product, security and infrastructure teams to reduce risk and improve system stability on HP NonStop (Tandem) platforms in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with HP NonStop (Tandem) platforms in high-availability environments.
• Solid knowledge of payments networks, transaction switching, and real-time processing.
• Experience delivering production reliability in 24x7 operations.
• Ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own availability, performance, latency, and resilience of payment platforms on HP NonStop.
• Define and enforce SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets for critical services.
• Drive automation across monitoring, diagnostics, deployment, and recovery workflows.
• Act as lead incident commander for high-severity production events.
• Lead blameless post-incident reviews with root-cause analysis and follow-ups.
• Mentor engineers and set reliability standards across teams.
