Job summary

Emerald Locums Limited in Dublin is seeking an experienced CORU registered Senior Speech & Language Therapist to join the Adult Services team. You will assess adults with communication and swallowing disorders, develop treatment plans, and work with a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes.

This ongoing contract offers a competitive hourly rate of €40-€45, dedicated consultant support, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• CORU registration as Speech & Language Therapist (SLT).
• Senior experience in Adult Services.
• Experience managing communication and dysphagia caseloads.
• Excellent assessment, clinical reasoning and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage adults with communication and swallowing (dysphagia) disorders.
• Develop and implement evidence-based, person-centred treatment plans.
• Complete comprehensive assessments and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients, families and carers.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Supervise and support junior staff and students as appropriate.

Senior Speech & Language Therapist Dublin - Adult Services Emerald Locums are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Speech & Language Therapist to join a well-established Adult Services team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a CORU registered Speech & Language Therapist with senior-level adult experience looking to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, person-centred care. The successful candidate will work with adults presenting with a range of communication and swallowing disorders, carrying out assessments, developing treatment plans and collaborating closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes.
