Qualifications

Solution Architect Daily Rate Contract Dublin (3 days onsite)

We're hiring a Solution Architect who has experience in the Financial Services sector. In this role, you will be designing critical applications within the risk technology team.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture for strategic programs, defining target-state designs
• Produce high-level design (HLD) documents and detailed architecture specs
• Define integration and data architecture for scalable, interoperable platforms
• Ensure regulatory and security compliance in partnership with stakeholders
• Guide solutions from design through delivery and implementation
• Align architecture with enterprise technology strategy
• Support vendor selection, governance, and architectural assurance
• Translate complex architectural decisions for technical and business audiences

Requirements

• 5+ year experience in an Architect role, ideally within a highly regulated, financial services environment
• Strong experience in microservices/SOA design
• Strong experience working high volume ETL projects
• Knowledge of a number of database systems such as SQL, NoSQL & PostgreSQL
• Coding skills with Python is beneficial
• Background in financial services transformation and regulatory-driven implementations
• Ability to architect solutions across complex, multi-stack enterprise ecosystems
