Job summary

GemPool Recruitment partners with a leading consulting and digital transformation organisation to hire a Senior Solution Architect for a growing technology practice delivering large-scale transformation programmes.

This role shapes enterprise solutions, influences technology strategy, and works closely with clients to solve complex business challenges across cloud-native and hybrid environments. Hybrid work model in Dublin.

Qualifications

• 4+ years delivering as a Solution Architect in enterprise or consulting environments.
• Strong architecture expertise across software, cloud, integration, infrastructure, and security domains.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems in cloud-native solutions.
• Knowledge of Java or .NET ecosystems.
• Strong client-facing consulting and stakeholder management experience.
• Experience contributing to solution proposals, technical strategy, and architecture governance.
• Architecture certifications such as AZ-305, AWS SAP-C02, or TOGAF are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture across major transformation programmes.
• Define architectural blueprints covering functional and non-functional requirements.
• Set technical direction across cloud-native and hybrid solutions.
• Serve as trusted advisor to clients through design and delivery phases.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced architect who enjoys shaping enterprise solutions, influencing technology strategy, and working closely with clients to solve complex business challenges.

Location: Dublin

Hybrid - (2/3 Days Per Week -On-Site)

Responsibilities

• Leading end-to-end solution architecture across major transformation programmes
• Defining architectural blueprints covering functional and non-functional requirements
• Setting technical direction across cloud-native and hybrid solutions
• Acting as a trusted advisor to clients through design and delivery phases
• Collaborating with engineering, delivery, and business stakeholders to drive successful outcomes
• Supporting business development activities including solution shaping and technical proposals

Requirements

• 4+ years’ experience delivering as a Solution Architect in fast-paced enterprise or consulting environments
• Strong architecture expertise across software, cloud, integration, infrastructure, and security domains
• Strong understanding of modern architecture patterns including APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, and cloud-native solutions
• Knowledge of Java or .NET ecosystems
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing consulting experience
• Experience contributing to solution proposals, technical strategy, and architecture governance
