Job summary

GemPool Recruitment is seeking a Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable Azure-based cloud solutions for enterprise clients in Ireland. You will translate business needs into robust architectures, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive migrations from legacy systems.

The role requires deep experience across integration, infrastructure, and application architecture, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. A background in Java or .NET development is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Solution Architect or Cloud Architect role.
• Azure certifications or willingness to achieve them.
• Background in Java or .NET software development.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience across integration, infrastructure, and application architecture.
• Ability to design multi-system, enterprise-level architectures.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end Azure-based solution architectures (IaaS & PaaS).
• Translate business requirements into scalable system designs.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define solutions.
• Drive cloud migration strategies from legacy systems.
• Produce architecture documentation and present solutions to stakeholders.
• Contribute to IT strategy, governance, and technology decision-making.
• Work across integrations, data platforms, web technologies, and enterprise systems.
