Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master's or advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience directly managing software engineering teams.
• Solid understanding of financial accounting concepts; experience in investment banking, hedge fund technology, or financial services is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership across multiple cross-functional development teams and global locations.
• Oversee end-to-end software delivery, ensuring on-time, within-budget, and in-scope initiatives with low defect rates.
• Lead budgeting, IT financial planning, and resource estimation for projects.
• Oversee Production Support and Incident Management, drive remediation and long-term reliability improvements.
• Ensure governance and compliance with SDLC frameworks (Agile/Waterfall) and ITIL standards.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain top engineering talent; manage performance and growth.
• Drive process improvements across cross-functional engineering units.
