Job summary

Protex AI, the AI Safety and Operations Intelligence Company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Computer Vision team. You will design, implement, and optimize a high-performance real-time video analytics pipeline built on NVIDIA DeepStream SDK and GStreamer, running on edge hardware.

You will own performance, reliability, and observability from custom plugins to edge-to-cloud delivery, mentor colleagues, and help shape the technical direction of safety-critical systems used by

Qualifications

8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong C/C++ with modern C++ (C++17/20) features.
Expertise in multithreading, asynchronous programming and concurrency.
Experience with Docker and edge deployments.
Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
Able to mentor others and influence tech direction.

Responsibilities

Design, implement and optimize high-performance real-time video analytics pipeline.
Own performance, reliability and observability from plugins to edge-to-cloud delivery.
Work on edge devices using NVIDIA DeepStream SDK and GStreamer.
Collaborate with CV team to meet latency and throughput constraints.
