Job summary

Bentley Systems in Dublin is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to advance cross‑platform interoperability across desktop and cloud applications. You will design, implement, and maintain complex full‑stack solutions in TypeScript and C++, and own major features with scalable, reliable performance.

Lead and mentor juniors, drive architecture discussions in an agile team, and shape testing strategies with unit, integration, and system tests.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, implementing and shipping scalable software.
• Expert understanding of OO programming, design patterns and architectures.
• Experience leading architecture and web services development.
• Familiarity with TDD and modern testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and maintenance of cross‑platform interoperability solutions in TS & C++.
• Own major features and system‑level designs with focus on scalability and reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive architectural discussions in agile teams.
• Research new technologies and define best practices and patterns.
