Job summary

Bentley Systems in Dublin is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to advance cross‑platform interoperability across desktop and cloud applications. You will design, implement, and maintain complex full‑stack solutions in TypeScript and C++, and own major features with scalable, reliable performance.

Lead and mentor juniors, drive architecture discussions in an agile team, and shape testing strategies with unit, integration, and system tests.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, implementing and shipping scalable software.
• Expert understanding of OO programming, design patterns and architectures.
• Experience leading architecture and web services development.
• Familiarity with TDD and modern testing frameworks.

**Position Summary:**The Integration & Interoperability group at Bentley Systems is dedicated to unifying global infrastructure software into an open, data-centric ecosystem. Our mission is to build robust, scalable systems that allow complex engineering data to flow seamlessly across our platforms and major third-party tools. As a Senior Software Engineer in our Dublin hub, you will contribute to the architecture making this cross-platform interoperability possible, working across desktop and cloud-based applications and services to enhance existing features.
