Liberty Information Technology Limited in Ireland is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on GenAI & AgenticAI solutions, combining innovation with production cloud engineering.

You will deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced, pivoting environment, collaborating with product owners, customers and stakeholders. The role emphasises clean coding, CI/CD, testing, and mentoring junior team members, with a flexible hybrid in-office work model.

Qualifications

• A third level qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science or STEM subject and 3 years’ software development experience in a commercial environment; or current and valid industry-recognised certifications and 5 years’ software development experience in a commercial environment.
• Experience with agile software development teams (Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.) and collaboration with Product Owners, customers, end-users, or stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a team solving complex business problems by delivering high-quality software that provides an outstanding experience for customers.
• With senior team support, contribute to architecture or design in your area of work.
• Write clean code and improve coding standards; own, scope and deliver well-defined deliverables or stories.
• Communicate progress regularly at stand-ups or similar agile events; mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to maximise customer value; participate in code reviews and CI/CD improvements.
• Grow knowledge of architecture and modern engineering practices; assess new technologies and solutions for development lifecycle.
