Job summary

Stelfox Limited in Ireland is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and scale enterprise-grade AI solutions using Python and modern LLM-tooling. The role centers on Generative AI, retrieval architectures, and agentic workflows in a hybrid work setting.

You will work with LangGraph, LangChain, and API integrations to deliver reliable, scalable AI services for enterprise platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams on production-grade deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with Python.
• Commercial experience building Generative AI or LLM-powered apps.
• Strong knowledge of RAG, embeddings, and vector search.
• Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI or similar frameworks.
• Experience with distributed systems and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy production-grade Generative AI apps using Python.
• Build and optimise RAG solutions across data sources.
• Develop agent-based workflows with LangGraph, LangChain, or similar.
• Implement context management and orchestration for complex AI workflows.
• Integrate AI services with enterprise platforms via APIs and events.
• Enhance system reliability, scalability, observability, and performance.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to deliver high-quality AI solutions.
• Contribute to AI engineering standards and best practices.
