Job summary

Liberty IT is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on GenAI & AgenticAI solutions, blending innovation with production cloud engineering. You will deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced, pivoting environment where ambiguity is expected and creative problem solving is required.

You will join a team delivering complex business solutions, with opportunities to influence architecture, contribute to design, and mentor junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or STEM plus 3+ years in commercial software development.
• Or 5+ years of software development with industry certifications.
• Experience delivering features in agile teams with Product Owners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Join a team delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.
• Contribute to architecture or design within your area of work with senior support.
• Write clean code aligned with team standards and continuously improve coding practices.
• Own and deliver well-defined stories and communicate progress in agile ceremonies.
• Mentor junior team members to deliver features and components.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to maximise customer value.
• Contribute to automated testing and secure coding practices (threat modelling).
• Help evolve CI/CD pipelines and participate in code reviews.
