Job summary

Avista CLG in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 CDNT, is seeking a Senior Social Worker Practitioner for a permanent full-time role (35HPW). Salary subject to relevant public sector experience and pro-rated for hours of work; REF:106082.

The Senior Social Worker Practitioner is a core member of the CDNT, providing holistic assessment and intervention for children and young people with complex needs, in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams and families.

Qualifications

• Be registered with the Social Workers Professional Register (CORU) and have an active CPD Portfolio.
• 3 years post qualification experience.
• Have experience of working with children with complex needs and their families and/or experience in working within children and family services in the community.

Responsibilities

• Senior Social Work Practitioner is a core member of the CDNT and promotes frontline health and social services.
• Provide support to the most complex families; work with health, welfare and education services.
• Work within an interdisciplinary team to deliver holistic services to children 0–18 with complex needs.

Skills

CORU registration

3 years post-qualification experience

Full clean driving licence

Experience with children with complex;

NQSW or equivalent
