Job summary

Allied Health/Nursing in Ireland seeks a Senior Social Worker for the Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNT) across multiple locations. The role involves safeguarding, family-centred practice, and leadership in clinical supervision within an interdisciplinary team.

You will provide psychosocial support and advocacy, coordinating IFSPs with other professionals. A CORU registration and 3+ years of post-qualification experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Social Work.
• Current CORU registration is essential.
• Minimum of 3 years post‑qualification clinical experience (Senior grade).
• Experience in disability, paediatrics, or child and family services is highly desirable.
• A full clean driver’s licence and access to a car for community visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential psychosocial support, advocacy, and therapeutic interventions within CDNT.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team including OTs, SLTs, and Psychologists to deliver IFSPs.
• Support families following diagnosis or during transitions with emotional and practical guidance.
• Advocate for entitlements, schooling, and community resources for families.
• Lead safeguarding efforts and contribute to service policy development in senior roles.
