Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualifications required: A full QQI level 7 Award in Social Care or Applied Social Care/Studies/Practice at degree level is essential, (or relevant schedule 3 qualification as listed on CORUs website) with at least 6 months recent experience working as a Social Care Worker supporting people with complex needs.
• Or a relevant 3rd level qualification at degree level i.e. Social Work/Psychology with at least 2 years recent experience working as a Social Care Worker supporting people with complex needs; AND Eligible to register with CORU as a Social Care Worker.
• Senior Social Care Worker: leadership, rota management, and meetings chairing; fluent English and excellent communication; driver’s licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team providing care to individuals with complex needs.
• Plan and coordinate team rota to ensure service delivery.
• Lead/chair meetings and ensure adherence to PCP and care plans.
• Deliver supports according to the person’s PCP and care plan while prioritising the person’s needs.
