Job summary

Qualifications

• Full QQI Level 7 Award in Social Care or Applied Social Care/Studies/Practice at degree level is essential.
• At least 6 months’ recent experience working as a Social Care Worker supporting people with complex needs.
• Proof of CORU registration or application in progress; knowledge of current legislation relating to the Social Care Sector; understanding of autism.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver support according to the person’s PCP and care plan.
• Implement and develop support/care plans and PCPs.
• Place the needs of the person supported at the core of all activities.
• Work with individuals with autism within a person-centred approach.
