Job summary

Search Talent is partnering with an established and growing construction business to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager for a major residential development in Dublin. You will lead on site delivery, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring programme, quality and safety standards are achieved.

You’ll have autonomy to run significant sections of the development, with support from an established project and commercial team, and a clear path toward senior construction management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' construction experience.
• Experience delivering apartments, houses, duplexes or large multi-unit schemes.
• Track record of actually delivering projects on site.

Responsibilities

• Leading day-to-day construction activities on a major residential development
• Managing and coordinating subcontractors and site teams
• Driving programme and ensuring key milestones are achieved
• Maintaining excellent standards of quality and health & safety
• Identifying potential programme issues before they become problems
• Working closely with Contracts, Project, Engineering and Commercial teams
• Managing inspections, handovers and completion of works
• Mentoring junior members of the site team
• Reporting progress directly to senior management

Search Talent is partnering with an established and growing construction business to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager for a major residential development in Dublin.

This is a substantial, multi-phase project incorporating a mix of houses, apartments and duplex units and offers several years of secured work.

We are particularly interested in speaking with Site Managers who have reached the point where they want more responsibility, a larger project and a genuine route towards senior construction management.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will take a senior leadership role on site with responsibility for driving construction delivery, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring programme, quality and safety standards are achieved.

You’ll have the autonomy to run significant sections of the development, supported by an established project and commercial team.

Who we're looking for

You’ll ideally have 8+ years' construction experience, including significant experience managing large residential developments.

Experience delivering apartments, houses, duplexes or large multi-unit schemes will be particularly relevant.

You’ll be a strong fit if you’re currently working as a:

and can demonstrate that you’ve successfully taken ownership of significant residential packages or developments.

A construction-related qualification is advantageous, alongside the appropriate site safety qualifications, but we’re particularly interested in your track record of actually delivering projects on site.
