Job summary

STRIVE Search is working with a leading fit-out contractor to recruit a Senior Site Manager who will deliver high-spec commercial office fit-outs across Dublin and Kildare. This hands-on role requires ownership of day-to-day site delivery, strong leadership and close collaboration with the Project Manager and design teams.

You will manage subcontractors, plan works, monitor progress, uphold safety standards, and drive the handover process to ensure projects finish on time and to specification.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience within the construction industry, with strong commercial fit‑out experience.
• Proven experience as Site Manager/Senior Site Manager on commercial office fit‑out projects.
• Strong knowledge of fit‑out methods, sequencing and site operations.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the day‑to‑day management and delivery of commercial office fit‑out projects.
• Manage and coordinate all site activities from mobilisation through to completion and handover.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, trades, suppliers and site teams.
• Plan and sequence works to ensure the project remains on programme.
• Monitor progress on site and identify potential delays or issues before they impact the programme.
• Ensure all works are completed to the required quality, specification and programme.
• Carry out regular inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, design team, subcontractors and other key stakeholders.
• Attend and lead site meetings where required, providing clear progress updates.
• Ensure all site documentation, drawings, permits and records are maintained correctly.
• Manage site logistics, deliveries, materials and plant.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health and safety requirements and company procedures.
• Maintain a strong focus on quality, housekeeping and site standards.
• Manage snagging, commissioning and the handover process through to successful completion.
• Provide leadership and direction to the site team, ensuring works are properly coordinated and delivered efficiently.
