Job summary

Clancy in Ireland is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead site operations across healthcare, commercial, and residential projects. You will manage a safe, efficient workforce and ensure work plans align with deadlines, client requirements and design specifications.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in healthcare/commercial/residential construction
• Demonstrated knowledge of the construction industry and project execution
• Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate clearly to all stakeholders
• Team player with ability to build effective relationships at all levels
• Confident, experienced individual with strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Managing a safe workforce (direct staff and sub-contractors) at the site
• Checking plans, drawings and supervision of subcontractors across the project
• Planning all work efficiently and meeting strict deadlines
• Overseeing quality control and quality measures on site
• Resolving technical difficulties in consultation with Design Managers and addressing RFIs
• Attending meetings with clients, architects and consultants and keeping management informed of progress
• Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners and quantity surveyors involved in the project
• Quality management and BCAR coordination
• Energy management: ensuring sites operate in line with Energy program

KeyResponsibilitieswillinclude:

• Managingasafeworksiteaboveallothercompetingfactorsandatalltimes.
• Managingasafeworkforce(directstaffandsub-contractors).

Qualifications/Experience:

• 10years'+experienceinhealthcare/commercial/residentialconstruction-ideallywithinamain/specialistcontractor.
• Demonstratedin-depthknowledgeoftheconstructionindustryandprojectexecution.
• Excellentcommunicationskills.Youwillpossesstheabilitytocommunicateclearlytoallstakeholders.
• Teamplayerwithabilitytobuildeffectiverelationshipsatalllevels.
• Confident,experiencedindividualwithstronginterpersonalskills.
• ComputerliterateandfamiliarwithMSoffice,excel,project,(orsimilarschedulingpackage)
• Demonstratedknowledgeofsafetymanagementandqualitymanagement
• Abilitytoleadwithconfidence,mentorandmotivateColleaguesandthewiderteam.
