Job summary

Clancy in Ireland is actively recruiting a Senior Site Manager to lead a high-profile project in Dublin. You will oversee on-site safety, quality, schedule, and subcontractors, coordinating with design teams and clients to deliver work to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years’ experience in healthcare, commercial or residential construction, excellent communication, leadership and teamwork, and a strong command of MS Office and project scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Managing a safe worksite and directing direct staff and subcontractors.
• Checking plans, drawings and supervising subcontractors across the project.
• Planning work to meet deadlines while maintaining quality and safety.
• Overseeing quality control and implementing quality measures on site.
• Coordinating with Design teams and clients on RFIs and progress meetings.
• Liaising with consultants, subcontractors and planners to drive progress.

We are hiring a Senior Site Manager to join our Team in Dublin.

KeyResponsibilitieswillinclude:

• Managingasafeworksiteaboveallothercompetingfactorsandatalltimes.
• Managingasafeworkforce(directstaffandsub-contractors).
• Checkingplans,drawingsandsupervisionofsubcontractorsacrosstheproject.
• Planningallworkefficiently-ensuringstrictdeadlinesaremet.
• Overseeingqualitycontrolandqualitymeasuresonsite.
• ResolvingunexpectedtechnicaldifficultiesinconsultationwiththeDesignManagersandyouwilldealwithanyproblemswhicharise.
• Addressingtechnicalqueries(whennecessary)andinterfacingwiththeclient,consultantandarchitectregardingRFI’s.
• Attendingmeetingswithclients,architectsandconsultants,andkeepingtheminformedofprogress.
• Liaisingwithconsultants,subcontractors,supervisors,planners,quantitysurveyorsandallthoseinvolvedintheproject.
• QualitymanagementandBCARco-ordination.
• EnergyManagement–EnsuringsitesareoperatinginlinewithourEnergyprogram.

Qualifications/Experience:

• 10years’+experienceinhealthcare/commercial/residentialconstruction–ideallywithinamain/specialistcontractor.
• Demonstratedin-depthknowledgeoftheconstructionindustryandprojectexecution.
• Excellentcommunicationskills.Youwillpossesstheabilitytocommunicateclearlytoallstakeholders.
• Teamplayerwithabilitytobuildeffectiverelationshipsatalllevels.
• Confident,experiencedindividualwithstronginterpersonalskills.
• ComputerliterateandfamiliarwithMSoffice,excel,project,(orsimilarschedulingpackage)
• Demonstratedknowledgeofsafetymanagementandqualitymanagement
• Abilitytoleadwithconfidence,mentorandmotivateColleaguesandthewiderteam.
