Job summary

Evara seeks an experienced Senior Site Manager for a large residential project in Dublin. You will lead complex works from inception to completion, inspiring teams and coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality housing.

Based in Kilternan, you will manage safety, quality, and progress across 300+ homes, including apartments and houses, while maintaining budget discipline and strong communication with senior management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years in construction with 5+ years as Site Manager on mixed residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, organisation and communication skills.
• Degree or diploma in construction management or related field.
• Valid Safe Pass and CSCS; Safety Management qualification such as IOSH.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager with a background in large-scale mixed residential construction to join our team in Dublin. You will lead and oversee complex works from inception to completion, bringing strong leadership, deep knowledge of construction processes, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the Senior Site Manager will be part of the Site Team based in Kilternan. You will work proactively and collaboratively with colleagues across Evara as we deliver new neighbourhoods and communities. The Kilternan project is a mixed residential development of over 300 homes which includes a mix of apartments, houses and duplex’s

Key Accountabilities

• Oversee and manage all on-site activities for the mixed residential works

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards

• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors and other stakeholders

• Monitor progress and ensure timely completion within budget

• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve issues as they arise

• Prepare and present progress reports to senior management

• Manage and mentor site staff, providing guidance and support

• Implement and maintain effective communication channels across site

Requirements

• Minimum 8-10 years' experience in construction, including at least 5 years as a Site Manager on mixed residential projects

• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials and legal regulations

• Excellent leadership and organisational skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A degree or diploma in construction management or a related field

• Valid Safe Pass and CSCS cards; Safety Management qualification e.g. Construction Safety Management / IOSH

• Proficiency in project management software and tools

• Full driving licence and ability to travel to sites as required
