Job summary

NexVentur is recruiting an experienced Senior Engineer / Site Agent to join a major civil project in Dundalk, Co. Louth. You will coordinate and deliver civil works on site, working with site management to ensure safety and programme compliance.

The role requires hands‑on site leadership, strong planning and excellent communication. You will manage day‑to‑day site activities, review drawings and coordinate subcontractors on a national road infrastructure project.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience on civil engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of civil construction and site delivery.
• Experience on roads/infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple site activities and manage RFIs.

Responsibilities

• Managing and coordinating day-to-day civil works.
• Planning and programming upcoming works.
• Coordinating site resources, materials and activities.
• Working closely with subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Reviewing drawings and technical information.
• Raising and managing RFIs where required.
• Monitoring progress and ensuring works stay on programme.
• Maintaining high standards of quality, safety and project delivery.
• Being actively involved on site rather than purely overseeing subcontractors.
