Job summary

Hunter Savage in Ireland is seeking a Senior Engineer / Site Agent for Dundalk to lead daily site operations, ensure safe delivery, and meet programme requirements.

You will oversee setting out, quality control, and technical compliance, plan upcoming works, coordinate labour and plant, prepare RFIs and site records, and liaise with management, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep resources available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Senior Engineer, Site Engineer, or Site Agent on civil projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and site operations.
• Experience coordinating material orders, labour, and site resources.
• Hands-on delivery focus with proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with programme requirements.
• Oversee site engineering activities including setting out, quality control, and technical compliance.
• Plan upcoming works, coordinate labour and plant requirements, and assist with short-term programming.
• Prepare and manage technical documentation, including RFIs, site records, and progress updates.
• Liaise with project management, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure materials and resources are available when required.
