Job summary

Hunter Savage is seeking a Senior Engineer / Site Agent to join its project delivery team in Dundalk. The role covers hands-on site operations across civil engineering and infrastructure schemes, with a focus on safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will coordinate daily site activities, oversee setting out and technical compliance, and work closely with management, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep materials and resources aligned with programme requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Engineer / Site Engineer / Site Agent on civil engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, site operations, and project sequencing.
• Experience coordinating material orders, workforce and site resources.
• Hands-on capacity with direct involvement in project delivery.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with proactive problem solving on site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with programme requirements.
• Oversee site engineering activities including setting out, quality control, and technical compliance.
• Plan upcoming works, coordinate labour and plant requirements, and assist with short-term programming.
• Prepare and manage technical documentation, including RFIs, site records, and progress updates.
• Liaise with project management, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure materials and resources are available when required.
