Job summary

RT.Lane is seeking a Senior Site Engineer for an on-site role in Cork to support a pharmaceutical project. You will manage on-site operations, ensure delivery on time and within budget, and uphold high safety and quality standards.

You will oversee day-to-day activities, coordinate subcontractors, set out works with surveying tools, monitor progress, and report to senior engineers. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of planning and scheduling experience.
• Experience on medium to large-scale construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site activities in line with plans and specs.
• Monitor progress and report updates to the project manager.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and tradespeople.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
• Ensure health, safety, and welfare management on site.
• Set out site works using surveying tools to ensure accuracy.
• Manage plant, labour, and materials and liaise with suppliers.
