Job summary

RT.Lane is seeking a Senior EHS Advisor in Cork to uphold health, safety and environmental standards on construction sites. You will implement policies, conduct risk assessments and ensure regulatory compliance while advising on continuous safety improvements.

Collaborate with site teams to promote a safety-first culture, deliver training, and manage on-site safety documentation and regulatory liaison as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in EHS roles within construction.
• Familiarity with EHS management systems and audits.
• Practical knowledge of safety regulations and environmental legislation.
• Experience in risk assessments and safety training.
• Knowledge of incident investigation techniques.
• Understanding of environmental management practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations and company procedures.
• Develop and update risk assessments and method statements to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Deliver training and toolbox talks to site personnel and subcontractors.
• Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
• Maintain HSE documentation and ensure up-to-date sub-contractor records.
