Job summary

ICDS (UK) Ltd in Athlone, Westmeath, is seeking a Senior Site Engineer to lead setting-out activities on a major pharmaceutical project. You will supervise site delivery, coordinate with subcontractors and clients, and ensure compliance with drawings, specs and safety procedures.

The successful candidate will have a Civil Engineering degree and a minimum of 4 years’ experience with a Main Contractor, with proficiency in total stations, GPS and laser levels.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years’ Site Engineer experience with a Main Contractor.
• Proficient with total stations, GPS and laser levels.
• Strong knowledge of temporary works.

Responsibilities

• Supervise setting-out engineers and ensure accurate site delivery.
• Inspect shuttering, reinforcement and dimensions before concrete pours.
• Review drawings, calculations and specifications for compliance.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, clients, consultants and project teams.
• Maintain quality, materials reconciliation and site records.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and site procedures.
• Support temporary works coordination and technical site activities.
