Job summary

Walls Construction is seeking a Senior Site Engineer to support the construction management team in on-site control of building elements.

Responsibilities include supervising setting out engineers, checking dimensions before pours, liaising with subcontractors and clients, and overseeing quality control and health and safety on site.

Requirements include a Civil Engineering degree and 4+ years experience with a Main Contractor; experience with Total Station, GPS and laser levels is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 4+ years experience as Site Engineer with a Main Contractor.
• Experience using setting out equipment (Total Station, GPS, Laser Levels).
• Knowledge of temporary works coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Supervise setting out engineers.
• Checks shuttering, steel and other dimensions prior to concrete pours and maintains materials reconciliation files.
• Check plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate.
• Liaise with subcontractors, clients and other professionals.
• Oversee quality control and health and safety on site.
