Job summary

Walls Construction is seeking a Site Engineer to support the Construction Management Team in on-site delivery of building projects. You will oversee setting out, quality control, coordination of site activities, and ensure works meet project specifications and standards.

Qualifications

• A relevant Engineering qualification with a minimum of 2–3 years’ experience with a building contractor.
• Strong IT skills and knowledge of surveying instruments and site equipment.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and solutions-focused, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out, levelling, and quality control activities, including monitoring concrete quality through cube sampling, slump testing, and related procedures.
• Inspect shuttering, reinforcement, and dimensional accuracy prior to concrete pours, and maintain accurate materials reconciliation records.
• Maintain comprehensive records of site activities, including site diaries, quality documentation, and upload to DMS.
• Supervise directly employed staff and subcontractors involved in various construction aspects.
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety, environmental, quality, and operational policies and procedures.
