Job summary

John Paul Construction in Dublin is seeking a Site Engineer to oversee accurate setting out, monitor works on site, and coordinate with design teams to meet project objectives, including H&S, QA, and information management.

You will liaise daily with the project team and subcontractors, record materials and progress, maintain safe working practices, and contribute to quality assurance and project reporting on a permanent basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a relevant field.
• Experience on Main Contractor projects.
• Experience on Construction/Civil Engineering projects (Pharma, Datacentre, Hi-Tech, Distribution, Warehouse).
• Proficient with GPS, robotic total station and levelling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurate setting out, monitoring and coordinating of works on site to deliver project objectives including H&S, Technical and Design, Information Management and Quality.
• Daily liaison with the project team, design team and subcontractors.
• Monitoring and recording of materials, plant, and logistics.
• Implementing QA procedures, concrete pre/post pour checks, RFI’s and resolves technical issues.
• Record keeping and reporting.
• Assist in maintaining and monitoring safe working practices on site.
