Job summary

Global Professional Consultants seeks a Senior Engineer for Cork projects in life science, residential and commercial sectors. You will oversee engineering aspects, coordinate with site personnel and ensure delivery to high standards, with reporting to the Project Manager.

Requirements include a third-level Engineering qualification, 3+ years in construction engineering, concrete frame/building experience, and strong communication skills; driving licence is a must.

Qualifications

• Third level qualification in Engineering or related discipline.
• Concrete frame and building experience is required.
• 3+ years of experience in construction engineering.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage junior engineers and subcontractors.
• Set-out from drawings, site surveys, as-built drawings.
• Read and interpret drawings for layouts and materials.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and site workforce.
• Plan works to meet programme targets.
• Liaise with client representatives/Design Team.
• Ensure health and safety standards on site.
• Ensure high quality standards on works.
• Order and control materials on site.
• Maintain site records as required.
