Job summary

Pivotal Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a construction project in Cork. This full-time, permanent role requires strong setting-out, surveying and QA/QC skills to deliver high-quality on-site engineering delivery.

You will work with the Project Manager, Site Manager and project team to ensure works are safe, on programme and to specification, with long-term career progression on offer.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience as Site Engineer on construction projects in Ireland is desirable.
• 21 days of annual leave and a company pension are on offer.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and engineering support to the Project Manager and Site Manager.
• Carry out setting out, levelling and surveying of works.
• Ensure setting out and engineering works align with drawings and specifications.
• Review drawings and technical information for discrepancies.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and design teams.
• Maintain site records, RFIs and submittals.
• Monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met.
• Attend site and project meetings as required.
