Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Site Engineer for a major civil infrastructure project in Co. Meath. The role reports to the Project Manager and requires strong site-based experience in civil engineering and construction.

You will manage daily site operations, perform setting out with GPS/levelling tools, produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD, and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers while ensuring H&S compliance and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering (Level 8 QQI) or internationally recognised equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Site Engineer in civil engineering or construction.
• Proven experience with GPS, levelling instruments and AutoCAD.
• Full clean driving licence and legal right to work in the Republic of Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support daily site operations across civil engineering works.
• Carry out setting out duties using GPS and levelling equipment.
• Verify all site measurements, lines and levels for accuracy.
• Undertake site surveys and produce as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
• Monitor progress on site and maintain site diaries and records.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure H&S compliance.
• Assist with coordination of drainage, earthworks, concrete, roads and external works.
