Job summary

Sisk Group is seeking a highly experienced Site Agent for a major on-site leadership role in Leinster. You will supervise daily site activities, coordinate with subcontractors and ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires a strong track record in delivering large-scale construction, effective team management, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within a fast-paced environment. Competitive rewards and career progression are offered.

Qualifications

• Trade or technical background required.
• IOSH or equivalent health and safety training.
• Temporary works and excavation safety training.
• Permitting for live energy works training.
• Working at heights and scaffolding training.
• Lifting and cranage operations training.
• Other HSEQS training per site HSE plan.
• Knowledge of new construction technology systems.
• Understanding of BIM strategy.

Responsibilities

• Participate in compiling the initial programme and targets.
• Plan and oversee site setup for project launch.
• Manage relationships with subcontractors on site.
• Ensure HSEQS protocols are followed at all times.
• Maintain quality control procedures.
• Manage the temporary works register and update it.
• Highlight issues to management affecting delivery (materials, resources, schedules, safety, costs).
• Drive project pace and plan on-site work.
• Monitor energy and waste data; coordinate activity sequencing.
• Lead foremen and site staff; run daily meetings.
• Ensure incident protocols are followed on site.
• Oversee mobilisation to completion of project delivery.
• Communicate site needs to commercial teams for solutions balancing tech and commercial needs.
• Delegate responsibilities to staff.
• Maintain site records and contemporaneous documentation.
• Follow project execution plan to meet time and budget.
• Oversee registration system for all personnel entering/leaving site.
