Job summary

John Sisk & Son in Limerick seeks a Site Agent to lead on-site supervision, safety, quality and delivery across the full construction phase. You will coordinate site setup, manage subcontractors and foremen, and ensure compliance with HSEQS and BIM requirements.

You will drive programme targets, maintain records, run daily whiteboard meetings, and report to the contract management team while prioritising stakeholders and cost control throughout mobilisation to completion.

Qualifications

• Trade or technical background required for site execution.
• IOSH or equivalent health and safety management training required.
• Temporary works and excavation safety training mandatory.
• Training in permitting for live energy works is required.
• Training in working at heights and scaffolding is required.
• Training in lifting and cranage operations is required.
• HSEQS training as per site HSE plan is expected.
• Knowledge of new construction technology systems is preferred.
• Understanding BIM strategy is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Participate in compiling the initial programme and weekly targets.
• Plan and oversee site setup prior to project launch.
• Manage relationships with subcontractors on site.
• Ensure HSEQS protocols are followed at all times.
• Maintain quality control procedures on site.
• Oversee temporary works register and updates.
• Highlight issues to contracts/commerce that affect delivery.
• Drive project pace and plan work on site.
• Monitor onsite energy and waste data.
• Coordinate and prioritise activity sequences.
• Manage foremen and site staff; lead daily meetings.
• Ensure incident procedures are followed; manage delivery to completion.
• Communicate site requirements to commercial teams; seek efficient solutions.
• Delegate responsibilities to site staff and maintain records.
