Methodius Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Solution Architect to lead end-to-end design and delivery of a global ServiceNow platform. You'll partner with senior stakeholders to shape architecture, standards, and platform health across the enterprise.

The role requires deep ServiceNow expertise, strong governance, and the ability to translate complex business needs into secure, scalable solutions while guiding delivery partners and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering complex, enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions in architect roles.
• Expertise in CMDB, CSDM, data governance and security models.
• Proven ability to develop architecture blueprints, roadmaps and ADRs.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture from discovery to operations.
• Develop blueprints, data models, integration specs and ADRs.
• Define governance principles, patterns, standards, security controls and guardrails.
• Design scalable, secure, upgrade-friendly solutions; minimise customization and debt.
• Architect enterprise integrations using APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Servers, IAM, and patterns.
• Lead CMDB and CSDM architecture including service modelling and data quality.
• Facilitate architecture workshops and design reviews; assess risks and dependencies.
• Provide technical direction to developers and partners to ensure conformance.
• Address non-functional requirements including performance, security, privacy and DR.
• Maintain current/target state architecture docs and plan releases and readiness.
• Advise senior stakeholders and mentor architects, developers, product teams and partners.

We’re partnering with a leading global organisation to recruit an experienced Senior ServiceNow Solution Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering its global ServiceNow platform.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior architecture professional to provide end-to-end design leadership for a new global ServiceNow instance, drive the delivery of new platform capabilities, and establish architectural standards across a complex, enterprise-scale environment.

The Role

As Senior ServiceNow Solution Architect, you’ll act as the architecture and design authority across key initiatives, collaborating with business stakeholders, enterprise architecture, security, data, integration, engineering teams, and delivery partners.

You’ll ensure solutions align with business objectives and enterprise standards while maximising the use of ServiceNow’s out-of-the-box capabilities and protecting long-term platform health.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture, from discovery and option assessment through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and transition to operations.
• Develop architecture blueprints, solution designs, data models, integration specifications, and architecture decision records.
• Define and govern platform architecture principles, reusable design patterns, development standards, security controls, and technical guardrails.
• Design scalable, secure, resilient, and upgrade-friendly solutions, minimising unnecessary customisation and technical debt.
• Architect enterprise integrations using APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Servers, identity and access controls, and established integration patterns.
• Lead CMDB and CSDM-aligned architecture, including service modelling, data quality, ownership, reconciliation, and governance.
• Facilitate architecture workshops and design reviews, evaluating solution options, risks, trade-offs, and technical dependencies.
• Provide technical direction to developers and implementation partners, ensuring delivered solutions adhere to approved architecture.
• Address non-functional requirements, including performance, availability, security, privacy, compliance, disaster recovery, and operational supportability.
• Maintain current-state and target-state architecture documentation and support release, upgrade, and operational-readiness planning.
• Advise senior stakeholders and mentor architects, developers, product teams, and delivery partners.

What We’re Looking For

• Extensive experience delivering complex, enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions in a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Platform Architect capacity.
• Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, data and security models, scoped applications, integrations, configuration, customisation, and upgrade management.
• Proven ability to develop and communicate architecture blueprints, technical roadmaps, governance standards, and design decisions.
• Strong knowledge of CMDB, CSDM, service modelling, data governance, platform security, identity and access management, and operational support.
• Experience leading technical design reviews, managing architectural risks, resolving complex challenges, and guiding engineering teams and implementation partners.A solid understanding of enterprise architecture principles, ITIL, Agile delivery, the software development lifecycle, testing, and release management.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and relevant Certified Implementation Specialist certifications.
• Certified Application Developer certification is desirable.
• Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect (CMA) credentials would be a significant advantage.
