Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Principal Information Security Engineer to lead security for Crypto Products and Solutions Blockchain Networks. You will shape architecture, drive security-by-design, and collaborate with engineering, product, and global teams to protect blockchain services.

This role requires a strong security background, 10–15 years in information security, and the ability to influence across diverse stakeholders while uplifting security practices in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree preferably in computer science or information security.
• 10–15 years of information security experience.
• Experience influencing cross-functional teams and business partners.
• CISSP/CISM or equivalent certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Define platform security architecture and drive long term security strategy for Crypto Products and Solutions Blockchain Networks.
• Lead threat modelling, risk assessments, and security design reviews for high velocity, high availability systems.
• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines, APIs, cloud services, and blockchain processing components.
• Mentor junior engineers and advise engineering and product leadership.
• Engage with stakeholders across crypto projects and regulatory discussions to ensure security alignment.
