Job summary

Mastercard seeks a Principal Information Security Engineer to lead security for Crypto Products and Solutions Blockchain Networks. You will influence architecture, drive secure design, and ensure compliance across global teams.

You will mentor engineers, perform threat modelling and risk assessments, and embed security into CI/CD pipelines, APIs, cloud services and blockchain components. A senior security leader with strong communication and cross-framework experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree preferably in computer science or information security.
• 10–15 years in information security disciplines with cross-functional influence.
• CISSP/CISM or equivalent certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Influence security requirements and patterns for Crypto Blockchain Networks platforms.
• Lead threat modelling, risk assessments, and security design reviews for high velocity systems.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and security practitioners.
• Partner with engineering to embed security into CI/CD, APIs, cloud services and blockchain components.
• Build relationships with product, engineering and leadership; translate security concepts for diverse audiences.
