Job summary

McKesson seeks an experienced Salesforce professional to scale and govern a critical Salesforce environment. You will own platform health, security, automation and data quality across Sales Cloud and related capabilities in enterprise environments.

This role blends engineering discipline with administration, focusing on release readiness, access controls, and operational reliability to support growth and innovation.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in Salesforce administration, platform engineering, CRM operations or enterprise application support.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Advanced expertise with Salesforce configuration, Flow, permissions, sharing, data quality, reports, dashboards and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of platform security, identity/access concepts, least privilege, auditability and compliance-oriented operations.
  • Experience with sandbox strategy, release management, source control, CI/CD concepts and production change controls.
  • Experience supporting integrations, APIs, scheduled jobs, data loads and cross-system issue resolution.
  • Ability to analyze logs, limits and dependencies, perform root-cause analysis and implement durable fixes.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate platform risk, operational status and recommendations clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sandbox strategy, release readiness, deployment coordination, change controls and production validation.
  • Automate repeatable administration, monitoring, environment and quality activities using approved tools and APIs.
  • Partner with architects and engineers on security, data, integration, performance and platform modernization decisions.

Scale, optimize and govern a critical Salesforce environment by combining advanced administration, platform engineering, security, automation and operational excellence.

Role Purpose:

Own Salesforce platform health, administration, security, automation, release readiness, data quality and operational reliability. This role goes beyond traditional administration by applying engineering discipline, architecture awareness and automation to keep the platform secure, scalable and supportable.

What You Will Do:

First Six-Month Priorities:
  • Baseline platform health, limits, access model, storage, automation, releases, incidents and operational risks.
  • Create a prioritized reliability, security and technical debt improvement backlog with measurable controls.
  • Strengthen access governance, permission design, auditability and repeatable user lifecycle processes.
  • Improve release readiness, environment controls, testing evidence and post-deployment validation.
  • Automate one or more high-effort platform operations and establish platform health reporting.
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years in Salesforce administration, platform engineering, CRM operations or enterprise application support.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Salesforce Administrator and Advanced Administrator credentials; Platform App Builder strongly valued.
  • Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Sharing and Visibility, Identity or Data Architecture credentials.
  • Experience with Apex/SOQL, Salesforce APIs, scripting or automation used for platform operations.
  • Experience with DevOps tooling, monitoring, backup/recovery, data lifecycle and regulated enterprise controls.

  • In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
  • Our Base Pay Range for this position €70,600 - €117,600
