Operate as the primary technical authority for a strategic Salesforce ecosystem, defining secure, scalable platform architecture and guiding teams through complex enterprise decisions.
Provide deep technical ownership for Salesforce platform architecture. Define the patterns and guardrails that enable delivery teams to build secure, scalable and maintainable solutions while modernizing the ecosystem across CRM, integration, data, DevOps and AI capabilities.
Define platform architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, Experience Cloud where applicable, Apex, LWC and Flow.
Own reference architectures and standards for integration, APIs, events, data, identity, access, security and environment strategy.
Lead complex solution designs and architecture reviews, documenting options, decisions, risks and technical debt.
Guide engineering teams on governor limits, performance, scalability, maintainability, reuse and platform-native design.
Shape MuleSoft and enterprise integration patterns, including reliability, observability, error handling and lifecycle governance.
Partner with security and risk teams on least privilege, sharing models, permission strategy, encryption, auditability and secure design.
Establish DevOps, CI/CD, automated quality, sandbox, release and source-control standards.
Mentor solution architects and senior engineers and serve as the escalation point for critical platform issues.
Baseline platform architecture, integration landscape, security model, major pain points and technical debt. Publish prioritized architecture guardrails and decision records for the highest-risk domains. Establish design review and technical quality practices that accelerate rather than block delivery. Create a modernization plan for integrations, automation, custom code, environments and release engineering. Build an actionable platform health and architecture risk backlog with owners and sequencing.
10+ years in Salesforce architecture, engineering or enterprise CRM delivery with hands-on technical depth.
Expertise across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, Apex, LWC, Flow, platform limits and Salesforce security architecture.
Experience designing enterprise integrations using MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs, events and asynchronous patterns.
Strong knowledge of data architecture, sharing, roles, permission sets, identity, access and compliance-oriented design.
Experience with architecture governance, technical design authority, code/configuration reviews and technical debt management.
Ability to translate complex technical choices into clear guidance for engineers, product teams and business stakeholders.
Salesforce Application Architect and System Architect credentials strongly preferred; advanced architect journey is valued.
Experience with Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, observability and enterprise release models.
Experience with AI/agent capabilities, enterprise data platforms and responsible platform extensibility.
Experience in regulated, healthcare or other large, highly integrated enterprises.
