Job summary

You will expand the client base, push innovative marketing solutions, coach field staff, and ensure collections align with policy. Stamp 4 visa is essential, with extensive media sales experience and readiness to travel.

Senior Sales Executive Westmeath (Principally based, with territory travel) Role Overview This is a pivotal role designed to drive media sales, manage key agency relationships, and help lead the broader sales team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can hit the ground running, secure revenue across our core counties and beyond, and provide strong leadership support within a fast-paced media environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Consistently produce monthly media sales to meet or exceed targets, proactively driving income growth within and outside our traditional franchise area.
• Maintain, strengthen, and expand productive, high-value relationships with advertising agencies and key direct clients.
• Assist in expanding the client pool and increasing commercial returns; collaborate on developing innovative marketing products and techniques.
• Support the Sales Director in coaching, mentoring, and managing field sales personnel, fostering a culture of shared best practices.
• Act as a dependable senior resource by providing seamless territory cover during staff absences.
• Manage collections and credit control in accordance with company policy, ensuring all output complies with regulatory codes and best practices.
• Exceed customer expectations, proactively alerting management to potential standard lapses and recommending remedial actions.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Extensive experience in media sales, advertising, or a fast-paced commercial sales environment (Media/Radio sector experience is a distinct advantage).
• Demonstrated ability to manage relationship dynamics with advertising agencies and corporate clients.
• Prior experience or a strong aptitude for coaching, motivating, and supporting sales teams.
• Strong understanding of sales pipelines, territory management, credit control, and target-driven environments.
• Must be based within or highly accessible to County Westmeath, with flexibility to travel across territories as required.
