Job summary

IQVIA is hiring a senior data analyst for our Real-World Evidence (RWE) FSP team within a major pharmaceutical client in Ireland. You will lead dataset development and longitudinal analyses for observational oncology studies, leveraging EMR, claims, and lab data to generate robust insights.

The role requires strong R programming skills, experience with PharMetrics Plus, Flatiron, or Tempus, and a track record in safety analyses.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD with relevant experience in biostatistics, epidemiology or data science.
• Experience analyzing real-world data (RWD) from claims, EMR and lab data.
• Strong proficiency in advanced R programming and statistical methods.
• Experience in observational research and safety analyses.
• Ability to manage multiple studies and complex analyses.
• Excellent analytic and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of analytic datasets from raw data processing and perform data checks/cleaning using RWD sources (claims, EMR, lab data).
• Characterize patient populations, build cohorts, and define key variables for study objectives.
• Conduct and QC analyses, address censoring, confounding, and missing data.
• Collaborate with epidemiologists to define descriptive and complex statistics (longitudinal, survival, regression) for oncology studies.
• Develop and QC tables, figures, and listings for protocols/reports/manuscripts using RWD.
• Support development of study documents including SAPs and reports.
• Communicate timelines, progress, and results to project teams and stakeholders.
• Provide technical, programming, and statistical expertise to deliver complex study solutions.
