Job summary
Key Talent Solutions is recruiting an experienced Senior Engineer – Roads & Transportation for an Ireland-based multidisciplinary consultancy. You will design highways, active travel and public transport projects and contribute to reports across the project lifecycle.
The role requires a Civil/Transportation Engineering degree, Chartered status or working towards, ~8 years of post-graduate experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Irish standards (TII, DMURS, Cycle Design Manual).
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer or actively working towards Chartered status.
- Strong knowledge of Irish transportation design standards and guidance (TII Publications, DMURS, Cycle Design Manual).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Design highways, active travel, greenway and public transport projects.
- Prepare engineering designs and technical reports across all project stages.
- Apply relevant Irish transportation design standards and guidance.
- Collaborate with engineers, ecologists and other specialists.
- Mentor junior members of the engineering team.
- Work with Quality Assurance and Management Systems.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation.
