GPC - Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their Transportation team in Ireland. You will help design and deliver multidisciplinary transportation projects from feasibility to construction, supporting reporting and approvals along the way.

A leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their growing Transportation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineer to work on some of Ireland's largest transportation and active travel projects, gaining exposure across the full project lifecycle from feasibility and planning through to detailed design and construction support within a highly regarded consultancy.
Projects: Major rail and light rail infrastructure projects ( €100m to €2bn+) National road and motorway schemes ( €20m to €1bn+) Bus priority and public transport projects ( €10m to €600m+) Greenways, cycleways and pedestrian infrastructure ( €2m to €80m+) Urban road improvement schemes ( €5m to €200m+) Bridge and transportation infrastructure projects ( €10m to €300m+) Transport planning and active travel developments ( €1m to €100m+)
Role: Assist in the design and delivery of multidisciplinary transportation projects Prepare technical reports including Option Selection, Design and Environmental reports Develop civil engineering designs in accordance with TII, DMRB and relevant design standards Support project delivery from feasibility through to construction Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external stakeholders Assist with planning applications and statutory approval processes Ensure quality procedures and project documentation are maintained throughout delivery
Requirements: Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline 25 years' experience within civil engineering design or construction Experience delivering transportation or infrastructure projects Experience preparing technical reports and engineering documentation Good knowledge of TII publications and/or DMRB standards Knowledge of DMURS, Cycle Design Manual, Traffic Signs Manual and Traffic Management Guidelines would be an advantage Strong communication and report writing skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Salary: €45,000 €60,000 DOE + benefits
