Job summary

Trading 212 Ltd. seeks an experienced Risk Manager to support the CRO in shaping and operating the company’s risk management framework.

You will lead in risk identification, assessment, and reporting across multiple risk areas, with emphasis on regulatory compliance and outsourcing controls. The role requires strong knowledge of PSD2, RCSA, and risk appetite frameworks, plus the ability to challenge executives and communicate with the board.

Qualifications

• Extensive risk management experience in regulated financial services.
• Strong knowledge of RCSA, risk appetite frameworks, and incident management.
• Experience with PSD2/EMD2 and own funds calculation methodologies.
• Familiarity with Three Lines of Defence model and second-line oversight.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; board/committee exposure.

Responsibilities

• Support the CRO in developing and maintaining the Risk Management Framework.
• Own day-to-day maintenance of risk policies and annual review cycles.
• Design, own and maintain the Outsourcing policy and risk assessments.
• Oversee and test outsourcing arrangements and ongoing monitoring.
• Assess whether arrangements are critical/important; challenge concentration risk and sub-outsourcing.
• Prepare risk appetite recommendations and reporting to committees and stakeholders.
• Assist in PSD2-related capital requirements calculations.
• Ensure key risk controls are in place for each risk.
• Assist CRO with engagement with regulators and CB Ireland.
