Job summary

Morgan McKinley in Cork, Ireland, seeks a Senior Risk Associate to support development of the risk management framework, strengthening internal controls and regulatory reporting.

You will work with business teams to identify, assess and document risks, monitor exposures, and deliver risk guidance and training across the organisation. This role offers exposure to governance committees and continuous risk improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required.
• Recognised qualification in Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, Accounting or related field is preferred.
• Approximately 2-3 years' relevant experience within financial services is desirable.
• Knowledge of risk assessments, internal controls, governance and regulatory reporting is expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance risk management frameworks, policies and procedures.
• Support business teams in identifying, assessing and documenting risks.
• Monitor risk exposures, incidents and control weaknesses, ensuring timely escalation.
• Prepare risk reports and presentations for senior management and governance committees.
• Track Internal Audit findings and monitor the completion of remedial actions.
• Support regulatory compliance and monitor emerging risks and industry developments.
• Deliver risk management guidance and training to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Group Risk and other departments to implement consistent risk practices.
• Contribute to risk-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
