Job summary

Morgan Stanley Investment Management in Dublin is seeking an Associate in Operational Risk Management. You will support the Designated Person for Operational Risk and oversee risk for funds, contributing to incident management, reporting, NFRA risk identification, and oversight of risk programs.

The role requires experience in risk disciplines, strong communication, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Experience in a risk discipline in a buy side firm or management consulting firm.
Strong knowledge of operational risk management across the various risk types.
Highly detail-oriented self-starter and team player in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
MBA, CFA, or FRM is considered a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Secondary point of contact regarding operational risk matters including incident management.
Production of regular and ad hoc operational risk reporting including board level materials.
Assist in risk identification for the entity including NFRA.
Manage elements of other risk programs as required.
Support DP in managing risk framework through oversight of policies and procedures.
Assist in assessment of outsourced service providers and evidencing of oversight.
Support initiatives to improve the risk framework’s capabilities.
Perform other activities as delegated by the Designated Person.
