Job summary

Choice Stores in Naas, Co. Kildare is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to lead our busy store.

The successful candidate will have at least one year of management experience in a large format retail environment and be ready to work flexible retail hours to meet customer demand. You will train and develop staff, manage performance, merchandise rigorously, and drive sales targets while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year management experience in a large retail environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Flexible and able to work retail hours incl evenings/weekends.
• Knowledge of store operations and health & safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide Training and Development to all team members within the store.
• Actively manage employee performance and probation reviews.
• Ensure plans and updates are communicated to the store team.
• Lead by example and demonstrate strong leadership.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience by guiding the team.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and drive loyalty.
• Organise workflow and rosters.
• Ensure store looks great with strong merchandising standards.
• Monitor productivity and provide feedback.
• Support in new projects and flexible on tasks.
• Maintain professional, positive attitude.
• Achieve sales targets and KPIs.
