Job summary

Choice Stores in Naas, Ireland, seeks a capable Store Manager to lead daily operations, supervise staff, and uphold standards. You will drive sales through strong merchandising, exceptional customer service, and strict health and safety compliance.

You will coordinate with Head Office, manage time, and oversee cash handling and wage records using the TMS system while fostering a positive work environment and continuous staff development.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple duties.
• Experience merchandising promotional/seasonal displays.
• Strong product knowledge across seasonal ranges.
• Knowledge of RS Accounts and back-office functions.
• Ability to lead a team and foster a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Organise workflow and delegate tasks; ensure staff understand duties and standards.
• Maintain store health and safety compliance and high customer service quality.
• Plan break schedules, shop floor allocation, task lists and handovers.
• Communicate requests from Head Office and action them promptly.
• Manage time effectively to complete daily tasks and seasonal turnarounds on schedule.
• Oversee cash handling per company policy and maintain accurate records.
• Keep staff timesheets and weekly wages using the TMS system.
