Job summary

Roughan & O'Donovan seeks a Senior Resident Engineer for the N25 Rosslare Europort Access Road project in Rosslare Harbour, Co. Wexford. You will lead the site team, supervise 1.45 km of motorway works, and ensure compliance with PW-CF3, safety, and quality standards.

You will review contractor plans, liaise with the design team and stakeholders, and maintain daily site records while driving timely project delivery and close-out of issues.

Qualifications

• A degree in engineering and chartered or near-chartered status preferred.
• At least eight years' post-graduate experience as a senior resident engineer on road and bridge projects.
• Experience administering PW-CF3 contracts and supervising railway environments.
• Strong record of health & safety compliance and quality control on site.
• Excellent written and oral English; strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site-based team and supervise 1.45 km of new/improved carriageway works.
• Review contractor submissions, method statements and traffic management plans.
• Coordinate with design team and stakeholders; ensure daily site records.
• Monitor health and safety, environmental commitments and quality control.
• Agree close-out of non-conformances and maintain contract administration.
